And with this, the second season of Tsubasa Chronicle has ended. All that’s left now is to look forward to April, in which its third and final season will air. Fei Wong also had some interesting reasons for being involved in this arc. Because of Dhaos’ huge powers, they were able to locate Sakura and Syaoran again. If they could take this power, they’d be able to control Syaoran’s journey again. Chaos himself ended up being indeed a cluster of feathers, who developed a mind of their own. He indeed possessed a huge amount of feathers, meaning that the ones he fed Sakura were specifically created for that purpose.
There were a few strange things about this episode. Some things I didn’t expect. First of all, when Dhaos disappeared and turned back into the feathers, they actually scattered, instead of returning to Sakura. Only one feather found its way back to her, which also explains where Dhaos got his inspirations for the fake memories he created.
I also actually expected Fei Wong’s plan to succeed in the end. After all, then he’d get back in the picture again. I’m suspecting that he’s going to succeed somewhere in the third season. In any case, once he does, the fillers will be entirely over.
[EDIT]Okay, there isn’t going to be a third season, unfortunately. If a third season was planned somehow, then it would already have been announced.
There’s been speculation that there won’t be a 3rd season for Tsubasa. Wouldn’t that be terrible??
Ow… that isn’t good. Still, after all the building up, it would be almost impossible for a third season not to be broadcasted. And if the creators knew about the bad sales, why didn’t they air manga-material, in order to lure viewers back?
Really?! That would be a disaster! I got hooked on the series when a friend told me it was CLAMP’s ‘greatest work’! Is season 3 really the last season? There won’t be any more after that?
IMO, 26 episodes seem too short to finish up all the loose ends in the story… What about Fai and Kurogane’s story? We don’t even know much about Fai yet! And about Sakura’s father Clow Reed… Since that Fei Wang guy and Sakura’s father share the same family name, that means that they’re related?! How about Syaoran’s mysterious double? I wonder what that was all about… And Yuuko, too. She seems as if she knows what’s going to happen to Syaoran and the group…
Forgive me for my ramblings but I really want confirmation… It’s not just only me but I feel that most of the series’ fans would like to know as well…
Hmm, for as far as I know, the third season has neither been confirmed nor denied. I’d hate to see it getting canceled, though.
And about the huge number of lose ends… if I had to guess, then it seems that the creators will be turning up the pacing another notch, if this keeps up.

Heh, I feel the same. I’m dying to find out how this show will resolve. After all that time this anime spent building up, it would be a huge waste not to resolve it.

Well, don’t put your hopes on Tsubasa Chronicle coming out soon. Right now, the reruns have nearly ended (they will end around the beginning of May), but when they end, Dennou Coil will be taking over its timeslot. Apart from that, we have no new news about the third season.
Well, after going on the NHK’s TRC site (http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/tsubasa/index.html), it appears that there IS going to be a 3rd series. I think. Under the black writing in the top right that says 6:30-6:55, there’s some red writing that says (as much as I can read) “From the 4th of April __________”. If there wasn’t going to be a new series, they probably wouldn’t have this announcement. Unless, I suppose it’s announcing the reruns but that just seems anticlimatic. If anyone can read more japanese, could they tell me what it means? XD Arigatou in advance ^^

I’m not sure about the meaning, but the fact that the 7th of april has passed, with no news or no releases probably means that it’s about something completely different. Most likely the schedule of the reruns has been changed or something.

Final Thoughts: This second block of episodes certainly had its ups and downs. What surprised me a little was that my favorite episodes – the ChiXFye one and the super-deformed one – came from anime-original ones. It just goes to show that they’re not all mediocre.
Assuming NTV follows their current schedule of Tsubasa reruns, episode 53 should premiere on May 12th, 2007. Hopefully the third series will be better overall. There’s some very good story coming, but we’ll have to wait until next year for the journey to continue.

Yeah, I’ve heard that it’s supposed to start on 12th May. It was originally supposed to start beginning of april but there was a problem between the people who made the anime happen. I don’t know much about it though. That’s what my friend who lives in Japan said.
I can’t wait to see it though, I really want to see how the story unfolds and whether there is a happy ending or not for Sakura and Syaoran. I still don’t get the bit with the two Syaoran’s though, obviously they have a plan. I can’t wait 😉

Okay, it’s May 5th, and an announcement has appeared on the website. According to babelfish, it says the following:
“Broadcast ended. Support thank you.”
In other words, the chance of a third season coming is very unlikely. Unfortunately, the fact that Beetrain cut ties with clamp is true, and episode 52 meant the ending of this series.
I’m just going to assume that Tsubasa is over now. I don’t feel like waiting for something that might never come. It’s just a waste of enthusiasm.

By my guess since there are releasing the seasons on the dvds that there is still a chance it might come out on the dvd since it was announced that the season 3 was coming out so they might need a new way to release this the third seasons. There are to many rumors and none of them seem to be truthfull , I wouldnt get peoples hopes up since to many rumors , but in this one website there were speaking about Tsubasa Chronicles a sort of a review and was rated 8.1. There may be a chance it may be released in the near future, Hepefully.

They probably didn’t even know that the current Tsubasa Chronicle is as incomplete as it is right now.
Ive seen all 52 episodes, I’d say is the best show CLAMP has come up with, for the only reason that this anime caught my attention was if Sakura would be able to remember Syaron in the end. This what go me so picked in to the show, STP witch taking the most precious memories, either way Id say it was the best anime that I’ve seen so far cause this kind of anime catch my attention it has a good storyline. Id say to many people are coming with to many conclusions when it hasn’t been announced officially I wish there was a way to email clamp like a sort of petition asking for season 3, that might work.
If any one read this, all the news that were posted that was coming out on April/May it was never confirmed correctly, well think about this when season two of TRC supposely that it wasnt coming out but it did, and Ive been seen the dates in which the seasons have been coming out and have some sort of pattern to it so maybe it may come out later, is to all who still have hope for this series, not my intention to raise false hope but is only a glimpse of light.
I dunno, this is way too shocking I’ve just watched the last episode and although it is an ok ending for the 2 season, it is a stupid ending for the whole series. In you tube I saw some videos and there was an AMV that had some parts of tsubasa I’ve never seen before. They look somehow different but there are only some parts. What the heck does this mean!? They show Sakura and Syaoran a bit more gorwn up. I know this might not make sense but are those parts from tsubasa at all? and if they are, why havent I seen them although I have seen the whole of 52 episodes and I never saw those parts. I am not trying to make people false hopes, but isn’t it a bit strange…I would really like someone to reply to that please!

I heard that CLAMP wont make it cause the broadcasting of Japan wont support them so they dun have enough money. Its around 50K for one ep. But that is just what someone said in a doodad XD.

I think there will be a 3rd season;shaoran’s double hasn’t came out yet, fai’s past is still unknown, and sakura’s secret mysterious powers are still “mysterious”, so I really don’t think they are just going to end it right there.
I think shaoran’s double is just part of shaoran, except it’s the evil side of him…….
i don’t think there will be any season 3 ,but the comics is still in print.The syaoran who was travelling with the group all the while was a clone created by Fei Wong.The real syaoran is the one captured by Fei Wong

The Magician’s Message is actually the first OVA’s title.
The OVAs are NOT 3rd season, they’re 3 OAVs animated by a totally different studio in a totally different style (in a more shonen-like style, without insert songs, epic music, still-frames to build up the atmosphere, etc., everything that made me LURVE the Bee Train seasons, in short) meant to adapt the manga’s chapters 107-135.
And, oh God, they totally FUCKED X’s cast. And Subaru has’t appeared yet. T____T

I LOVE tsubasa! Did you noticed that through out the series {in the manga and anime} that in the manga there was some worlds that are not in the anime and that there are some worlds in the anime that are not in the manga?Well I did. If you have been reading/watching the manga/anime then you would have noticed by now. ^_^

In the manga and OAV there is the apperince of 2, and may I repeat this again, 2 Syaron’s in the story! One of them was a clone(the one from The Kingdom of Clow)! I know its shocking, trust me on this,I was shocked too! Later on you can read the story about Fai’s past too!(who is also half VAMPIRE now!)They go to Fai’s homeland(thats where they learn about his past)they also go to Karogane’s homeland too(after his arm was chopped off too as I might add).This is in CHAPTiRE 174 in the manga,but Clone Syaron comes and battels it out with the Original Syaron while Sakura (as usual) is dead asleep.

I have just finished the two seasons of Tsubasa chronicles as well as Tsubasa Chronicles Tokyo Revelations and Tsubasa Shunraiki. This series turned out to be the best anime I have ever seen. If they do not end it I would be most irritated. However…we must not give up, just like Sharoan.
these episode are awesome and i hope they continue with a 3rd series because it would really be disappointing to everyone and even me as a person who loves watching these episodes of Tsubasa as well.

Now that I have watched all the anime Im on to the manga and I hope the comics will conclude completely through I want to understand and know if Syoaran will save Sakura and was the little Sakura a clone too?
