This is going to be a really short entry because I also still need to write this series’ review and get up early tomorrow as usual so I’m sorry but there’ll also be no screenshots for this one because I watched it streamed. I had to watch too much awesome stuff today in too little time…

An adorable entry to an adorable episode of the adorable anime “Kobato” (starring the adorable Kobato, of course).
They really managed to pull it off and tie everything together so well in finale! Overall, my expectations for what seemed like a silly, but heart warming little show at the beginning have been exceeded. I agree that so far this has been the most satisfying ending this season.
really? I wasn’t a fan of the ending. Thought it was pretty sad, but I guess at the very least it was a departure from the normal happy endings we are customed to. When i saw it was over, at first I thought i missed something.

Regarding Hugh’s comment – the finale was a double episode, but split into two different episodes. Perhaps you missed the second part. When I watched the finale I thought the first part was the end, and I felt like you did, until I realised there was a whole other episode. If you didn’t miss the second part of the finale, I’d be curious to know what you found sad about it.
