Nodame Cantabile – Finale
Short Synopsis: Our lead character is studying hard.
Well, the big question with this series is of course: is it going to recapture the magic of the stellar first season, or is it simply going to turn into a nice though uneventful romantic comedy of the second season. The big problem here is Chiaki Kon, as she’s well on her way to become Shinbo II in the way that she’s been directing way too many series for the past two years. This episode started off pretty nice, setting up the premise for this season: Nodame getting her own concert. It’s about time for her to really develop, though, because I’m starting to get annoyed with her antics.
OP: Decent, but not very impressive.
ED: A quiet ballad, but again nothing special.

I’ve read the manga, am thoroughly unsatisfied with the second half of this series. I suggest not putting your hopes up on this one, it won’t ever be as good as the first season.
I agree with cris, ever since first season this series has been awfully disappointing. And if the anime is going to follow the manga, prepare to be let down.
Sure she gets a concert but… developing into something deeper, along with her relation to Chiaki. Lets just say its very poorly handled and it just doesn’t happen, infact you’ll see how the crazy hijink attitude of Nodame would end up frustrating.
As for capturing the first season’s spirit, or the early part of the manga, it just never happened with the later half.
