To be honest, at the start of the Aniblog tournament I didn’t think that I’d be able to get so far. I’m really surprised at how many people turned out to support htis blog. Even the ones who never comment but simply read this blog occasionally: thanks. I’d also like to thank Scamp, RP and mefloraine.
Now, since I’m not got at these “thank you”-posts, I’ll just stop here.
Congrats~ I don’t visit Star Crossed much but I know it’s been around for a while (I remember seeing it on Anime Nano years ago, even before I started my own blog). I’ve heard many good things about it so I hope you keep up the good work =)
Congrats. You had my votes even though my first choice (randomcuriosity) got eliminated early on 😀 Still, you deserved it for all the regular posts over the years and for posting more opinions than summaries (although a bit of summary wouldn’t hurt sometimes, and maybe a bit more screenshots).

I remember finding this blog years ago when I was watching Law of Ueki, though I made my first comment only yesterday. It’s been a real treat to watch this blog go through all the seasons since then and evolve taste-wise, and I’ve been turned onto a lot of good shows by your recommendations. I never comment your blog. I just read it. But the depth of your analysis is the best I’ve seen online for animes (I tried a lot of blogs before reading this one). Congrats, you deserve this victory indeed!
I said it elsewere: Psgels you’re just too modest. You deserved to win, and we are grateful to you for making such an awesome blog.
It’s not just a matter of just finding non mainstream stuff or just writing good reviews.
There are indeed other blogs out there where you can read good reviews or cover pretty much any jap series. But Star Crossed has all of that and more sumed up alltogether and well organized too!
There’s space for episode reviews, first impression, full reviews, divided and catalogued too. Damn! It resembles an encyclopedia of anime! Not to speak about the contenents. You look beyond what’s obvious from a superficial view of every show, but go straight analyzing it in deep. I don’t think there are so many other blog like this out there, cause there are not so many people like you out there in the first place. You’re one that can speak about anime like an adult with reasoning. That’s your best quality imho. I’m glad people can still choose right between many blogs written for the sake of lulz and something based more on reasoning like star crossed is.

congrats! i discovered your blog when i was trying to find reviews on casshern sins. from then onwards, i become a regular reader of your blog. i don’t comment much but i really enjoy reading your reviews.
thanks for introducing us to different anime series, even those in the 80s.
I don’t usually comment as well. This is the first. You deserve the win. I like your honest and quality reviews. Introduced me to some great anime such as Bantorra and Denyuden which I would have missed if I did not read this blog.
For posterity’s sake. I want to offer my congrats to psgels. You are mind blowingly awesome in your love and dedication to anime.
I’ve visited a lot of anime blogs since I found out about the tourney. And sure there’s some quality here and there, and I’ll probably check them out every once in a while but for my everyday anime needs yours is still the best. You more than deserve to win this.
