  1. First Comment! (sorry, couldn’t resist)
Congrats on the 6 year mark psgels!
Amusing search terms? I was in stitches over some of those. Made my day those did. Keep em coming!
A request: you should have a “thankyou” section. This is for the people who have sparked off lots of comments (Kevin in MPD ep15, etc.) I think they deserve a ‘special’ mention.

  2. Oh lord, I was laughing for five straight minutes during that list. XD I run a small blog and I’ve gotten some really weird search terms as well, makes me wonder if some people out there really don’t know how to use Google.

  3. [insert well written “congrats well deserved speech” for 6 years]
Is it me or the search terms of this years were more “normal” than the usual? Still funny and strange but other years we had jewels like “I went to saw the sea”.

  4. Congratulations!
    search terms were briliant
    or disturbing
the last one is interesting if you check pictures for it (and no they are not porn but I wonder what is conection between quote, Naruto and Professor Flitwick)

  5. Congratulations, psgels. It’s weird how, despite disagreeing with you on several accounts and having different tastes in general, I keep coming back here over and over again.
    P.S. >> fma blog opowiadanie
was likely the fault of a random Polish fan rather than a cat. “opowiadanie” means “short story”.

  6. Oh hey, I remembered this from last year.
I really wonder how people get to your site using these absurd search terms. Also, I think “the mail that leapt through time” was from that one Steins;Gate episode where they were discussing what to call the D-mail.

  7. Heh, thanks everyone.
Dalx: yeah, I thought so too. There still wre quite a few funny ones, but I couldn’t find any classic ones like “9/11 bombers still alive” and “code geass true story”.

  8. Congrats on 6 Years! Love the search terms. I think I only found you about 2 years ago, but this has since been my ‘go-to’ site for anime news and reviews. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  9. Congrats on the 6 year mark! And yeah, I’m surprised Les Miserables got most accessed too. Maybe your fanboying about it influenced people to see it for what it really was and not dismiss it as a dumbed down kiddie show. Maybe that’s why Porphy got so many votes on Licca Fansubs’ website!

  10. Congratulations! Your blog is seriously the best one out there in the net about anime! Btw, I don’t know if you actually care, but I’m from Venezuela!:) quite far away from your homeland, right? Anyway keep the good work! you’re great!:D

  11. Congratulations psgels! I’ve been following your blog since the Summer of 2008 and it never disappoints. This blog helped me on my “journey” through the world of anime. It introduced me to awesome series (like Seirei no Moribito and Glass Mask) and it made me look into series I’d never give a chance (like Level E). I even remember writing you a comment when I got here introducing myself and telling you about my favorite anime genres… God, how lame was that? 😛 I was 19 then and now I’m 23, thankfully I learned internet common sense ^^
Anyway, thank you for all the great reviews and lists and first impressions. Keep up the good work! ^^

  12. Some of those search terms were definitely quite hilarious!
6 years….that is quite an accomplishment! I hope I can keep my blog for that long! Congratulations! 😀

  13. Congrats on your 6 year Anniversary.
I remember it was your Saiunkoku posts that first brought me to this blog and I am very glad I stuck around. 🙂

  14. Congratulations! So happy I hopped back into anime and rediscovered your blog.
    @scamp. That review is hilarious!
The anime.. I keep thinking it’s Gungrave

  15. Congrats on reaching 6 year mark.
Been visiting here almost daily since spring 2010 and I don’t think any other site have introduced me to more series than this one has. =)

  16. Congrats for keeping it up for so long.
I generally don’t agree with your taste in anime, yet I still respect your opinions and come back to this site regularly. Easy to navigate, nice rating system, just how a animeblog should be.

  17. Congrats Psgels…and I hope you keep on blogging for many years…
…Just now I remembered that I found this blog searching for a Darker Than Black Review XD…

  18. Okay, “can i get pregnant if i’m anime” is probably the winner for me this round! ^w^
Congrats for keeping it up this long man!

  19. Congrats on 6 years! Thanks for all your hard work, your blog is definitely a treasure.
The list was absolutely hilarious too. I can’t stop laughing! XD

  20. congrats man, been 2 years since i started reading , hope u keep on going :]
oh and epic search’s bravo man never laughed so much while reading xD

  21. Guys next time you search something like “anal fisting videos” or “awesome prepubescent child pornography videos” remember that there is someone like psgels who is laughing at you in front of their monitor

  22. My favorite blog right now. A great place to visit when something happens in an anime that makes me want to talk. Keep it up, psgels!

  23. Congratulations, psgels! I think I’ve been following this blog since 2007, so it’s amazing to see how much this blog has grown since then!
Also, LOL, someone wants to ‘spong’ me? What does that even mean?

  24. Omigosh, that last search reference had me laughing for a good while. Anyway, Congrats on your 6 years milestone. I like the variety of anime you blog about. Keep up the good work.

  25. Congrats.
I, too, found this blog by searching for “Darker than Black review”. I’d just finished watching it, it made a big impression on me, but I wasn’t sure why, so I looked for reviews, and found this.
Congrats on six years. I really appreciate the reviews you’ve written.
What I love about your style is it’s short and to the point: when I read a series review I get a good sense of what kind of series it is and whether or not I’ll like it, and when I read an episode review I feel like I get the idea but haven’t been spoiled.
This is perfect: if something you’ve reviewed seems good I can go into it with a blank slate, and if something you’ve reviewed seems bad I can save time and not watch it.

  26. Six years already? shit I’m getting old 🙂
Congrats psgels, have been with you from year 1(early 2006 I think) great blog and to think that back then I had watched more anime than you… don’t think I can say it now can I?
Keep writing as long as it stays fun to do so. I will keep reading 🙂

  27. 6 years, huh?
It’s been about 3 years for me, and I can’t really say that you’ve dropped in terms of consistency, which is an extraordinary achievement. I mean nowadays I find myself checking out your blog about 5 times a day which is probably too much 😛 Keep up your good work and I’m looking forward to you reaching your 10th anniversary.

  28. Ah, I’m following this site since 2009. congratulations for being one of the few reviewers out there that make reviews without spoiling the anime for those who haven’t seen it yet.
Though I often disagree with your ratings, I respect them 😛
And epic lol at this post. I laughed hard here. But I have no idea why is DTB the most accesed one…

  29. LOL
omg good stuff. i’ve been to ur blog religiously for the past 2 years. thanks for giving me a good laugh. like others have said, i don’t always agree with ur ratings, but i like how u picked up book of bantorra whereas other sites did not even consider that series at all. good times =)

  30. I’ve followed you going on three years now and no other anime blog compares. Thanks to your blog my tastes in anime have really changed. There’s so many series I would never have given a chance if it weren’t for you blogging it. To think I would have let gems such as Shiki and Penguindrum pass me by if it weren’t for you! I always love to read the discussions (or in the case for Penguindrum-battles ^.^) that insue after your posts. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to write, and here’s to the next 6 years!

  31. >_> …. “most popular series after kuroshitsuji” …
Might have been me O3O; ….. Probably i just watched Seitokai no Ichizon and was looking for and anime with the Echo of Death Nii-san >_>:

  32. Congratulations psgels and keep us hooked with your reviews! Been coming here regularly since I searched for a RideBack episodic review way back in 2008 🙂
And oh, I hope you will be the top seed in the next Aniblog Tournament – and win again. 🙂

  33. I’ve only been with you for under two years, but since then your posts have become my main guide for choosing what to watch each season. Thanks for your hard work, and keep those reviews coming!

  34. I can’t believe we’ve hit the 6-year mark. Keep it up! (Well, aside from the hosting).
Some utterly absurd search terms, there. And some very interesting tie-ins!

  35. “the homoerotic adventures of he man: the never ending quest to save sasuke ep 72”
    LOL’D
Thanks for blogging psgels & happy 6th anniversary. I’ve been following your blog ever since Memento closed down.
I really like your writing style and I enjoy watching 85% of the stuff you do so it was a good thing for me to find your blog ^^
