Manabi took me by surprise as well. If it stays as innocent as it has been, I think I’ll stay with it. I simply don’t see Manabi as anything but a fun show to watch. Basically, I don’t want the show to try and squeeze some type of high-drama out of the story.
NC isn’t anything special (yet?), but I’m sticking with it because Nodame cracks me up.
Well I finished watching Afro Samurai and I have to say that the last ep may be the worst of all by far.
As for NC, I’ve seen the drama quite a while ago and I liked it but I didn’t try the anime version.
Finally CG is a fun watch if you don’t think too much over it.And I can’t let it go since Clamp chara-design is always wonderful.
j.valdez: I’m not sure if you’ve seen episode four. Based on your post, I’d say you haven’t. The reason I liked the fourth episode was that it suddenly turned into a serious drama, like you feared, but actually managed to pull this off right.
