2020 hasn’t been great for many reasons, but at least it’s a good year to be a Danmachi fan. These two episodes were outstanding. While episode 8 may be the best of the series, 9 and 10 were on point. Go watch them if you haven’t. There’s not much for me to add, except to sit basking in the glow of a good DanMachi season.
I had a bunch of things to say, but that seemed boring – so here’s the Bell’s harem report from these two episodes.
Syr with a power move here – when everyone’s against your man, you swoop in. That’s a winner’s attitude right there. Big waifu energy.
One thing that had me dying was Ais watching Bell meet half his harem in the alley – like obscure members too. “Is he a delinquent?” had me in stitches. Poor Ais – that was uncalled for, Bell. You better apologize properly to the best girl.
Eina rolling Bell was ABSOLUTELY JUSTIFIED – I’ve been bitterly complaining how she’s been left out and it seems my whining has been heard! Absolutely terrific!
Hestia and Haruhime getting left out feels a bit bad, but there’s only so much Bell to go around – and they get him at home. Oh yeah, and Ryu had to fight Ais – talk about taking one for the team.
In all seriousness, this is a great season of DanMachi. Sure, the production lags and turns into a slideshow every once in a while. But that’s been the case since season 1 – everything else we’ve come to love is out in spades and I’m here for it. Even if S.S. BellAis is having some troubles.
