Popolocrois Story 1998 – 15 – Loneliness

Is there really no limit on Gamigami Maou’s brilliance? It really seems that he manages to come up with a genious invention at every friggin single episode! Ah well, not that I’m complaining. ^^;

Today’s models are a stylish radar in order to track down Hyuu, brilliantly code-named as the “love-love-sensor”, and a giant zeppellin, Gamigami-style. Especially the former was just awesome. It indeed tells Hyuu’s exact location, and displays this on a giant radar-screen. Gamigami’s only mistake was that he forgot to put up some kind of index, which means that he can’t even understand his own invention. It gets only greater when later in the episode, they finally manage to reach Hyuu, though it seems that they took a huge detour in order to get to her. ^^;

In any case, about the episode. It’s clearly another character-development episode, in which the episode doesn’t have too much plot progression, so that it can really focus on the character development for some of the different characters. In this case, Hyuu, Pietoro and Narcia. Apart from that, Gamigami, Ston and Sanda are just totally awesome once more and queen Sania shows some motherly affection.

Pietoro gets blown away by a huge gale of wind (Hyuu’s work, she unknowingly blew Pietoro away) and he ends up in some kind of desert, or sand plain. As the desert is a very nasty place if you come there unprepared, he starts having visions after quite a short time. These are all visions about the Popolocrois Castle, and the friends he made there. (Interesting note: no Hyuu in these visions). Still, his stubbornness gets himself back to civilized areas. The creators used an interesting little trick, which really worked out well. Pietoro struggles further, he has no idea where he is, and so, he doesn’t even notice that he’s near civilization. When he starts calling out people, Shirokishi and Narcia just used the right timing to run into him. It’s a nice effect, and it makes more sense than when they would’ve found him in the middle of the desert.

Narcia, meanwhile, as she is separated from Pietoro, gets a few lessons about loneliness. She’s extremely lonely without him, though a helpful townswoman comforts her a bit. Overall, she learned quite a bit from this.

Hyuu, meanwhile, still has her own problems. As last episode showed, she flew off randomly. She’s been doing that ever since, and she came to realize that she’s a Wind-kind, destined to be lonely (this really went well with Narcia’s struggles). She even blasts Gamigami, Ston and Sanda away when they come in the Zeppelin to look for her (which also blasted Pietoro away). (Interesting note: before she did this, all kinds of birds were following her. After the blast, even the birds wouldn’t come near her. She then spends the night in the open again, having nightmares about Ston and Sanda’s true feelings. In the end, however, she realizes that she really needs the three of them. Especially after they show up the next morning in the barely working remains of the zeppeling. It’s funny if you imagine that Gamigami spent the entire night trying to get that thing back to work. ^^;

This episode also featured Queen Sania’s theme song. It’s been a long time since we’ve had another one, but I still love them. Things are also going very good at the new location of Popolocrois castle, as the first plants start to grow. Shirokishi leaves again, though. In order to search for the great sword. I wonder if he’ll ever find it.

Overall, it was a very nice, laid-back episode. Not too many thing happened, characters got some healthy dose of character-development, and Gamigami, Ston and Sanda were just as great as ever.

PopoloCrois Story 1998 – 14 – Gamigami’s Getting Greater Every Episode

At first, this episode seems a filler, though it’s everything but a filler, as both Pietoro as Narcia/Kai as Hyuu all got a healthy dose of character development. The episode also features one of the funniest scenes of Popolocrois yet. And that has to say something! I’m not going to spoil that one, but I have to say that when you really get to know brilliant characters like Gamigami, the way his inventions fail half of the time, his unique voice-acting and his personal taste in aesthetic design, the creators can really achieve some utterly brilliant scenes. I almost fell of my chair from laughter.

There’s also something that I noticed at that particular scene: the PopoloCrois OST Rocks! The dreamy tunes really set the mood perfectly, they’re wonderfully composed and the overall effect they have is amazing.

About the episode: as this was the first episode on PopoloCrois which had such an ugly character in it, who was supposed to be pretty and Pietoro looked like he fell in love with her, I kept fearing that this would be a disaster. Alas, I had no reason to fear at all, as the robot ends up pretending to blow herself up, which leaves Pietoro and Narcia together again. They were SO CUTE at the end of the episode! The list I made on my last post in .Hack//Roots gets another entry: Pietoro and Narcia. Kawaaiiii!

I am SO looking forward to the next couple of episodes. Mostly because of Hyuu. The last episode finally made her realize that she’s been wasting her time, and we close the episode with an image of her, flying to some unknown place. Where will she fly to? And what kind of impact will this have on the other characters?

I also just loved the fact that this humanoid-robot-girl had such an incredibly long name: “Gamigami The Great Tenter Shion Version 1.5” (do I still have to tell who gave this name to her? ^^;). As Pietoro was the only one who bothered to shorten her name, the results were just hilarious. Every time a bad guy tried to call her, he’d call ehr in her full name, when you combine this with tension, it works perfectly. ^^;

Popolocrois Story 1998 – 13 – Ston + Sanda = Awesomeness

Really. I’ve watched this entire episode with a big smirk on my face, which didn’t fade for even a second. Not neccesarily because the episode was that funny. Okay, it had some hilarious moments, though that isn’t the great thing about this episode. The fact is that this episode was written in such a brilliant way. So many brilliant ideas were put into the scenario. This episode really showed the brilliance of this anime.

The center of the episode was Hyuu. Finally, she’s playing a much bigger part than just ordering Gamigami, Ston and Sanda around, as they are finally able to capture Pietoro. Again, Gamigami uses one of his most awesome inventions to do it: a couple of walking, metal pencils who can join together to form an electric cage. Gamigami also gets some nice revenge, when he demonstrates the shocking effect of the cage by electrifyin Ston. ^^;

In any case, Hyuu continues ordering Gamigami, Ston and Sanda around, treating them like garbage, just so she can be with Pietoro. Even when Pietoro refuses to be her servant and Narcia confronts her with this, she still doesn’t see that she’s doing the wrong thing. I just loved it when she heard Ston and Sanda talk about the fact that they wanted freedom. At that point, she realized that she’s abusing her power.

Pietoro also manages to be one of the very few male main characters who I actually really like. Especially in fantasy shows like this. I guess this is because he’s incredibly kind and innocent. He has his own ideals, and he believes in them with great enthusiasm. He’s so incredibly cute when he acts like this.

Ston, Sanda and Gamigami chasing Kai was one of the best short chases ever. Seeing the former three mess up horribly, getting in each other’s way and seeing the latter make very clever use of this was just incredible to see. Gamigami is actually one of the few characters who just keeps talking in an action scene. As if he was his own commentator at a very exiting football match. In any case, Ston and Sanda really shined during the entire episode. They made very good use of repetition when they had to bring Pietoro’s cage from Hyuu to the dungeon, from the dungeon to Hyuu again, and backwards. I just loved the shiritori. ^^

Overall, this anime’s brilliant, and this episode demonstrated that once more. You hardly see any anime around who are as creative as this one. It may be an old anime, but it’s totally worth it.

PopoloCrois Story 1998 – 12 – Continuing the Amazingness

Once again, PopoloCrois manages to produce a horribly creative episode. The entire combination of Pietoro, Narcia, Gamigami, Ston, Sanda, Hyuu, Pablo, Hilda, the advisor and a newly introduced character turned this episode into a great intermezzo. Still, it remains an intermezzo, mostly focused on Narcia joining up with Pietoro, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

We start with Narcia trying to find where Pietoro went, though she can’t seem to find him. That’s of course logical, as he left the castle at the previous episode. She gets joined by the advisor and a matter of very good timing in her search of the prince, until they both run towards Pablo, who explains the situation. Pietoro, meanwhile, ended up in some kind of port town. Because he’s travelling incognito, he hears various gossip about Pablo, Gamigami and himself. This, of course, isn’t too good for his overall mood. Then he meets a very excentric old guy, dressed in mexican influences, who keeps staring at his lunch as it if was dropped from the heaven. Pietoro tries to flee from him, but the guy keeps following him, and he keeps staring at such a brilliant way, that Pietoro eventually gives in and shares one of his sandwiches with the guy.

When the guy manages to get yet another sandwich out of Pietoro, he begins to get a bit mad at him, though the guy tells him a valuable lesson. Pietoro won’t become one of the big shots if he frets over something small like a stolen sandwich. This person then claims that he’s a hero. We never get to know whether this is true or not, but it does make Pietoro think about himself. After all, the guy doesn’t act like a hero at all, more like the village idiot, and of course Pietoro sees this too, and asks the guy to prove it. Then the guy begins to question whether Pietoro’s the real prince or not. And of course, Pietoro never really thought about this. He has as many ways to prove that he’s the prince as the guy has to prove that he’s a hero.

Gamigami, meanwhile, decided to lock himself up in his chamber while waiting for his robots to have found Pietoro. Hyuu comes to scold him again for slacking off, and then he uses an extremely ingenious way to send Ston and Sanda out in order to search for him. I won’t tell what, as you have to see this for your self, but it does involve a very big rocket. (^^;) His robots are meanwhile out in order to put up wanted-posters for Pietoro, and Narcia manages to see this. She then decides to help Pietoro in his quest, so the goes to Hilda in order to use her mirror in order to find him. Hilda’s nowhere to be found, so she uses Hilda’s cauldron to make something, what on first sight looks like the potion needed to activate the mirror.

Gamigami, meanwhile, took a little trip into the Popolocrois forest, in order for a bit of mocking, self-pity and a small nap. Narcia is meanwhile horribly messing up the potion, in her opinion at least. Through some miracle, she manages to get the potion working, but it was actually a desperate idea of her in order to prevent Pietoro from getting caught: change every single being in Popolocrois into Pietoro! Not only does this make Narcia look too cute when she finds the flaw in her plan, but Ston and Sanda also mistake Gamigami for Pietoro and take him to Hyuu, and Pietoro himself really has to think about why he is the real Pietoro, and the others impostors.

Hilda then manages to eventually correct Narcia’s mistake and turn everyone back, but not before Ston and Sanda carried Gamigami to his castle and the strange old man (who also got turned into Pietoro) managed to teach Pietoro a few valuable lessons. What follows is a Pietoro who really believes that this man is a hero, and Hyuu recognizing that Gamigami isn’t the real Pietoro. Ston and Sanda, still not knowing that they’re dealing with Gamigami, then attempt to get rid of him through the same method Gamigami used at them at the beginning of the episode, though he manages to change back right in the middle of the process. Ston’s reaction at that time was just absolutely priceless.

Anyway, in the end, Hilda lets Narcia use her mirror in order to find Pietoro’s location, so she manages to find him easily, and the two are together again, and the episode ends. This episode really was another masterpiece. Especially Narcia was too cute, though Ston and Sanda were also really shining as bad guys. Another thing I just love about Popolocrois is that everything just can go wrong. And when it goes wrong, it goes wrong at extremely creative ways. The most memorable examples are, of course Gamigami trying to get his inventions to work, though this episode also showed a great example of Narcia not thinking about some of the problems regarding her plan to change everyone into Pietoro.

PopoloCrois Story 1998 – 11 – Awesome Plot-Twists

I have to admit: when Ston and Sanda first got their hands on the Anemoritos, I really though that this would be solved within the first five minutes of the next episode. Boy, was I wrong! At that point, I never would have imagined that the storyline would turn so awesome from that point on. This episode definately was no exception.

The highlight of this episode was one of the best plot twists I’ve ever seen since Fantastic Children and Paranoia Agent. Remember last episode? Well, Gamigami decides to go extreme by switching Popolocrois Castle and his own tower from location. Now, Pietoro and his parents have to live in a barren wasteland. An interesting note: during the transportation, Gamigami managed to generate the same light pillar as in the first episode. This might be very useful for later.

Pietoro continues to blame himself for what happened. All because he let Gamigami take his dragon-powers. Though I think that the major fault lies with the love-potion. Without that, Gamigami’d never have Hyuu’s support, and he’d also never have the motivation of taking over the castle. Anyway, it takes a LOT to get Pietoro cheerful again. In fact, he’s so depressed that at one point, he even begins to stare at a piece of rope in a very “suggestive” way, if you know what I mean. I found this extremely well excecuted. Especially when he went out to sit on the roof of the castle as usual. When he looked down, and saw the unfamiliar scenery, he really was scared, and became afraid of the height.

Gamigami, meanwhile, is heavily celebrating his achievements, along with Hyuu. She, however, doesn’t share his happiness, and she keeps mentioning that something is missing. Ston and Sanda also aren’t too keen on Gamigami’s enthusiasm, with all kinds of sarcastical comments following.

Pietoro, by the way, is also the only resident of Popolocrois Castle who feels gloomy. The king and queen, the servants who got transported along with the castle, all of them are cheerful. Even the angsty advisor was happily playing cards with Paolo. Pietoro’s mother then tells him a tale of the time when Paolo was still young. He came from a very poor village at that time, and he had to do his utter best to gain a single bean in one certain winter. He then saw a hungry, nearly dying fox. Pietoro’s mother doesn’t finish this story, though, but lets Pietoro figure it out for himself.

Hyuu, meanwhile, is certain that something is missing. Though she doesn’t know what, exactly. Then Gamigami calls Hyuu, in order to show his newly created vehicle, in which he plans to ride through the castle town in order to pimp his new title. This is all accompanied by a very nice soundtrack. And we immediately find out that Gamigami can’t sing. AT ALL. Ston and Sanda definately agree with this.

Paolo, meanwhile, is ready to let his servants who got transported along with the castle know his next plans. Instead of doing what everyone thought he’d do, he puts on a farming-suit, and starts attempting to fertillize the barren plains around him. Pietoro’s mother joins him.

I am not paying attention at all, during an episode. That became clear with the scenes which were shown afterwards. Only when we switched back to Gamigami again, I finally understood what was happening. It was so brilliant. It’s so obvious, though I didn’t think of such a simple issue AT ALL, which makes it even more awesome. The following scenes are all accompanied by a great soundtrack, and Pietoro finally gets his enthusiasm back, and he sets off alone.

And just when you think we’ve got enough plot twists for one episode, Hyuu throws another one in our face. She makes another demand to Gamigami: bring Pietoro to her, and make him her servant. I couldn’t believe this when I saw. I’m really beginning to wonder what she wants to do with Pietoro in the first place. This show definately made me see that Hyuu is incredibly unpredictable in her behaviour and reasons. She wants to be with Pietoro, that’s obvious. But why does she want to use him to get home? Or does she even want to go home? Hmm….

Popolocrois Story 1998 – 10

It’s a shame that you never hear anyone talking about Popolocrois. This anime’s brilliant! I guess that people are turned off because of the strange character-designs and the fact that it’s based on an RPG. Well, guess what? These people are making a HUGE mistake. Just because Final Fantasy Unlimited sucked, it suddenly is common knowledge that every anime based on an RPG sucks, is just like saying that Tekken was horrible, so that must mean that every anime which involves fights is horrible as well. HUGE mistake.

This episode was one of the best yet, even if you consider the already high standards Popolocrois set. After last time’s intermezzo, we now get to see Gamigami actually carry out his plans to try and steal the Crown of Wisdom. It was in one word brilliant.

We start with the night before it all happens. Both parties prepare themselves. Pietoro swears that he’ll protect the crown, and Narcia decides to help him. The two of them looked so cute at that time. Anyway, the king’s advisor is getting more nervous by the minute, though the king uses as argument that if he can’t protect the crown, he’s not fit as a ruler. Gamigami, meanwhile, completed his newest invention, which he shows to Ston and Sanda. Hyuu, meanwhile still is in doubts.

We then switch to the next day. We’ve got a happy middle-aged woman, coming from the country and carrying a whole bunch of apples who tries to enter the castle. It then appears to be Gamigami is his new invention: a robot, capable of just about anything, including a middle-aged woman disguise. He manages to get inside the castle, and rushes to the king’s chamber. His plan is to shoot the crown right off the king’s head, though right at the moment he wants to shoot, Pietoro runs into him. It was hilarious to see Gamigami talk himself out of that situation. Then he finds another quiet spot, and Narcia runs into him. Again, the same scene of Gamigami talking himself hilariously out of the situation occurs. Then, the knight runs into him. This time, though, Gamigami’s moustache gets a bit stuck in his robot, which gives a strange moustache to the disguise.

Anyway, Gamigami begins to see that things aren’t going too well, so he decides to wait until dark. He presses a button, and what once was a woman, suddenly turned into a large cubical shelter, complete with bathroom and television. It’s a surprise nobody actually noticed it during the day. ^^;

We switch to the night. Ston and Sanda head to the castle on their own, as they have no idea what Gamigami was up to. Pietoro, meanwhile is tired, so the knight offers to take his place, so he can get some sleep. Gamigami, meanwhile, reveals his latest plan: an invisible, wall-crawling, mechanical spider. He takes a little detour, mistaking the king’s advisor’s room for the king’s, though in the end, he manages to find the right window. He enters the room, and instead of just grabbing the damned crown like Ston and Sanda (who just arrived) suggest, he reveals another one of his inventions: a crane game. This, of course, doesn’t work at all. I do love Gamigami, though. He takes simple concepts, and somehow manages to solve turn these into incredibly creative, though unneeded behemoths of concepts. Though, I guess that that’s the reason he’s brilliant.

Sanda meanwhile found an apple, dropped by Gamigami’s invention, while Gamigami begins to get a bit tired of his failures. So what does he do? He takes out even more cranes. This seems to work. They manage to hold the king down, so Gamigami has a good aim. Though, then Pietoro manages to rush in at the last possible moment, warned by Sanda and the apple he managed to find. This was probably the weakest moment of the episode. Still, I enjoyed it. And Gamigami afterwards totally makes up for this, by resorting to the thing he should’ve done in the first place: he grabs the crown and runs off. ^^;

Then we get to see a brilliant chase. Gamigami’s trying to get out of the castle, and of course, the different members of the cast try to stop him. The knight come in first, by cutting off the mechanical spider’s legs, only to reveal a couple of wheels afterwards. Then Pietoro gets a bit of help from Kai in flying mode, but Gamigami literally drives into a building to avoid the two of them. When he reaches the end of the building, he crashes though a wall, and seems to fall, only to reveal that his invention also flies. He then takes off, though Pietoro finally manages to get the crown, simply by throwing himself on Gamigami. He leaves along with Kai, and Gamigami smiles.

Popolocrois castle rejoices, Pietoro gets praised, though Gamigami isn’t done with his plans. He grabs a large speaker, takes his time in testing it, and then declares that the crown that Pietoro took back was a fake, and puts on the real one to prove it. Pablo gets angry, and throws his crown away, only to reveal that Gamigami lied about him having the real crown, which means that Pablo just threw the real crown away. Gamigami grabs the real crown of wisdom, and his mission has succeeded. Pablo admits his defeat.

Pietoro is destroyed by this moment, and breaks down. After all, he vowed to not let anyone have it, and for the second time, he couldn’t protect something important. It was just too sad to see him like that, and it also gives great potential for coming episodes. I’m beginning to like Pietoro more and more. Okay, he’s impulsive, and he wants to make as much people as possible happy. Though there’s a difference with him and all other main characters out there: he acts genuine. That’s something only girls seem to be doing in anime nowadays, though it works perfectly.

Popolorcrois Story 1998 – 09

This time mainly focused on the relationship between Narcia and Hyuu. Especially Narcia needed a bit of self-confidence, which she certainly got at the end of the episode. I also find Gamigami more awesome after each and every episode.

We start at the Popolocrois Castle, which suffered some damages after last episode’s attack. Pietoro is enthusiastically helping the castle guards repairing the broken parts. Narcia, meanwhile, makes him some sandwiches. Then Pietoro talks about Hyuu again, after which Narcia gets an unhappy feeling. After a bit of struggle, she decides to go to Hyuu herself in order to talk with her.

She arrives at Gamigami’s castle, where she meets Hyuu, again in some deep thoughts. The two end up talking a bit. Basically, Narcia wants the Anemoritos and Hyuu doesn’t want to give it to her. Meanwhile, Gamigami just finished his new invention: a machine which knows an answer to all possible questions. He demonstrates it to Ston and Sanda, with hilarious results. In the aftermath, the castle shakes and an earthquake takes Narcia and Hyuu to some kind of sewer under the castle. Gamigami meanwhile isn’t too happy. I still find it brilliant, though, especially when you know that the answers of the machines are shown like those bars on slot machines. Ston and Sanda also begin to get more brilliant by the minute.

Anyway, inside the sewers, a cute little animal comes, swallows the Anemoritos and gets turned into a dragon. In the process of trying to turn this dragon back into the cute little animal it once was, Hyuu and Narcia learn to trust each other. It was beautiful to see. The glowing crystal-chamber was indeed a nice touch. Anyway, in the aftermath, Hyuu still keeps the Anemoritos, Narcia gets home, but she will try to find another way for Hyuu. I really liked this episode. Even though it was just an aftermath, I wasn’t bored at all. I’m looking forward to see how this will turn out.

Popolocrois Story – 1998 – 08

Heh, this show just keeps getting better. We firstly see Gamigami have some “tiny” problems controlling his newly created mecha, resulting in a couple of small earthquakes. He has found an interesting way of shutting it down (involvind a large hammer). It’s also hilarious that he managed to give his newly created “Great Pantzer” the nickname of “Gre-chan”. Meanwhile, we see a royal meeting of the king, queen, Pietoro and the knights, who try to find a solution for this rather annoying problem. Pietoro is thinking of entirely different things, like Hyuu’s alignment. He was just too cute when he finally decided what to do. This really is one of the most original main characters ever.

Hyuu, meanwhile, still struggles with her moral. She wonders whether she’s doing the right thing or not. Then she gets to feature in her own song. I so love the fact that each character appears to have his or her own song. The budget also seems to have turned up a bit for these, as each of these songs were jsut great to hear. My favorite up will now is Hilda’s one, describing the proper etiquettes for making correct potions. That really showed that even old ladies have spirit in them. ^_^

After a while, Gamigami finally manages to finish his new found pet. He shows the results to Hyuu and she praises him. After that moment, Gamigami was just too adorible to see. I also have to say, that mostly when a love-potion gets out of control, it will just be solved at the end of an episode. Popolocrois is the first show who managed to carry this even further. Anyway, Gamigami, Hyuu, Ston and Sanda set off to Popolocrois castle, Hilda sees this through her magic mirror, she sends Narcia to Pietoro and Hyuu suddenly feels like swimming and picknicking. I never saw that one coming.

Gamigami, of course, stops and orders Ston and Sanda to go fishing. That in itself was hilarious, as they’re not even his servants, but afterwards, we get to see even more awesome scenes. Ston tries to think of something again, while Sanda enjoys fishing for crabs. After a funny conversation, Ston gets an idea, and takes Sanda with him. Gamigami then plays a part in the most awesome peeping-scene ever. He wants to pick a beautiful flower, but if he does, he will see Hyuu swimming. As he is a gentleman, he actually doesn’t want to do it, and gets the genious idea of letting his giant mecha robot pick the flower in his stead. Okay, it makes no sense at all, but I so loved the fact that he actually seriously considered that.

Anyway, he’ll never get a chance to pick the flower, as Ston and Sanda suddenly ran off with Gre-chan, and plan to attack the castle all by themselves. I never knew a castle attack could be this awesome (after all, how many times do you see such an attack being executed by just too cute and fluffy animals?) Pietoro shows his best side again, and Gamigami saving the day was just too friggin awesome. Then Pietoro’s father (aka, the king) brings a very interesting development concerning the following couple of episodes. He actually challenges Gamigami to take his crown. Not by force, but by intelligence. I SO want to know what kind of plan Gamigami manages to think of. After all, I don’t really think he’s that stupid, after his behaviour at the end of this episode.

Popolocrois Story 1998 – 07

I just don’t believe what happened at the end of this episode. Hyuu must have some kind of reason for doing what she did. After all, she was giving the I-am-plotting-something-but-I-cannot-let-my-allies-know-about-it-so-I-guess-I’ll-have-to-act-mysterious-face. I do like the way she gave it. Most characters in anime stare to the ground, become a bit spaced out, and make a very serious face. Hyuu, however, smiled. I could almost say that it had a lot of similarities with an evil-grin. This shows lots of potential for episode eight.

Popolocrois Story is probably among with Tales of Phantasia the only anime in which I like each and every one of the character cast. The main characters, Pietoro, Narcia and Hyuu posess some subtle, but still unique and awesome traits most main anime characters nowadays lack. The bad guys (if you can count them as bad guys, that is), Gamigami, Ston and Sanda are just too awesome at times. Especially Gamigami (I mean, what other bad guy has a four-and-a-half TATAMI ROOM as the highest room in his castle? Only he would be crazy enough to think of a brilliant thing like that). The side-characters great to watch as well. Not even one of them feels out of place, annoying or boring.

Anyway, this episode was the best Popolocrois episode yet. I like the way the creators take it easy, not try to rush the scenes and still manage to add some comedy. Pietoro was just too cute when he tried to go to Hyuu on his own. Narcia was awesome when she tried to convince her sister to let her go. Gamigami was better than ever when he tried to flirt with Hyuu, even though it was actually horribly wrong what he did. (>.<) Also, every bad guy who manages to turn a rubber boat into a hovercraft instantly deserves a spot in the bad-guy-hall of fame. I see now that I've been rambling on a bit too much. I guess I'll stop now, before it becomes worse.

Popolocrois Story – 06

We get another pretty entertaining episode this time. GamiGami returns after having been absent for two episodes, and his plans are wackier than ever. Pietro also shows some signs of character development, Ston and Sanda mess up once again, and I was a bit startled when Hyuu came with her unorthodox idea to find some of the lost wind-kind…
