Amano, you idiot. Don’t you know that confessing in the middle of a series is like signing your own divorce letter? These things never go well! And indeed, the bad guys picked that exact moment to unleash that wench-obsessed beast–guy again and before you know it we’re in yet another cycle of “will they won’t they?” all over again. I really hope that the creators will end up avoiding this because nowadays those kinds of plots are incredibly boring.
It’s a shame, because most of the romances of this series have been very straight “they will” right from the beginning: everyone was very straight-forwardly developing feelings for each other. I liked that. I know romance isn’t that simple, but it’s just that the alternative anime usually finds for it sucks.
Apart from that though, I liked this episode; this was some good build-up. There was more focus than ever on the bad guys, who really needed that extra bit of development. The inner conflicts of interest between their two top guys will prove to be fun later on. And once again, the action scenes were really well done.
Rating: * (Good)
It’s Amata not Amano. ^^;; Anyway, while this anime is still ridiculously entertaining, I can’t help but notice how flawed the writing is when it comes to the love triangle(s). Too bad, really…
Mykage, however, is a great villain. That KE-DA-MO-NO totally made my day. 😀
Interesting for someone who supposedly remembered his past life, Kagura got the name of his “girlfriend” wrong.
Have you watch the 1st Aquarion? Sousei no Aquarion? I think you haven’t…this episode connect and co-related to the Apollo and Silvia de Alisia; that mean Kagura and her is their incarnation…well, I couldn’t blame u…you didn’t watch Sousei no Aquarion before…so you hardly knew what happen
I was wondering if Aquarion was on hiatus because theres still no sub, and it always comes at the same time as Lagrange… But now I see it really aired, so not sure why no one is subbing it
its not on hiatus the translator is just sick is all.
Theres usually more than one group for popular animes like these, thats why I was surprised none of them subbed it
there is more than one group subbing this show, its just that the others are much slower.
Yeah, I was torn on this episode. On one side, the bad guys are fairly interesting, so the focus on them is appreciated. On the other side though, the central love triangle/square is becoming less interesting by the week. Amata and Mikono are, like said above, quickly becoming very annoying, which is unfortunate because on a basic level I do like them. At the same time, if they were going to have Zessica do NOTHING once she started liking Amata, they should have just had her stay as the flirty wrench in the works.
At least then she was fun and did stuff. Now she just shows up, mopes for two minutes or so, and then disappears again. I like her better than mikono, but I’d rather have her be fun and uninterested than boring and interested in Amata. This has been going on now for like four episodes straight. Enough is enough.
Between the boring AmataXMikono and Zessica turned crap, people are having one hell of a party on Altair. Come on Kagura, bring the party to Vega.
I prefer the couple in the first series. The female lead in this is really boring, the typical damsel in distress. uggghhh… The only thing keeping me interested is Kagura and Mykage, they’re the only unpredictable characters in the series. I really want to finish watching this but the AmataxMikono pairing is making it really painful.
To Chan
Wasn’t wrong, is you who didn’t watch the 1st series…this episode episode connect the past aquarion season–>sousei no aquarion…
