Allison to Lillia – 07

Oh, just great. I’m losing interest in this series, as much as I hate to admit it. It’s not the only series that started out rather unbelievable this season. Heck, Nijuu Mensou no Musume had a far worse start, but at least that one has been showing potential. At this point, the sense of adventure just isn’t enough anymore, and the way Allison just stole yet another plane didn’t sit right with me at all. Thankfully, at least the last parts of this episode seemed interesting again.

But then again… a peek at the preview showed how Owen Nicht shamelessly kidnaps Fiona IN PERSON. I have no idea how the creators are supposed to get a satisfying conclusion out of that. The guy has been horribly underdeveloped, and it doesn’t seem that he’s about to receive a huge amount of depth. I REALLY hope that this series won’t continue this pacing, where Allison and later Lillia will keep saving the world n forced manners.

It’s a shame. I expected much more from the director, but it turns out that he still needs to learn a lot. His style was perfect for Mokke, where every episode was quick and yet powerful. It seems however that he just isn’t as good with continuous story-lines.

Still, I’ll continue with this series for now. The thing I’m interested in is its future potential. What will happen once Lillia takes over? Will this series change entirely? Let’s hope that this series can keep me interested until that point…

  1. If they had made two distinct series for Allison and Lilia, they would have had enough air time to flesh out the story and the chars much better than this.

3 – 4 eps per arc is just a useless rush

  2. So, so much potential. I lost complete interest after episode 04, when the war just ended like that. It’s just… weird, you know? Such a shame, because I do like the characters and the music. The story just went in a horrible direction 🙁

  3. I’m blaming myself for always watching this and compared it to Last Exile…that makes me feel horribly indifferent with this series. It has some bits that should turn out to be good but it still can’t do things in the right way. I don’t know but it never get up to the peak for me , just interesting but end up bland.

  4. I’ve also kinda lost interest too; I haven’t even gotten time to watch Ep 4 yet. But I also don’t want to drop this show, because of the sheer potential the Lillia story might have.

  5. Count me in as someone else who lost interest in this show. I wasn’t planning on dropping it but around the time ep 5 came out I was extremely busy and behind on watching things and I decided it was expendable.

  6. I may just skip ahead to the Lillia arc, when it begins airing. Hopefully Lillia goes beyond the usually anime archetype. (or is that asking for too much?)

  7. Copy’n’paste from elsewere, as i’m lazy to rewrite:
So after careful pondering i’m dropping this show, while i’ll still watch to kanokon, which i really don’t like in the first place.
While i didn’t exept nothing else as lame crap from kanokon, and so i find it every week, I was expecting Allison to Lilia being a really good anime.
But episode after episode it becomes more and more stupid. The direction shines in destroying every climax and plot twist. The nice idea of the white blanket to escape the village was ruinde by the final outcome with love and peace. This episode had the twis being Fiona not a real princess, and what’s the climax of the episode? Benedict: *kisses hand* “who the hell cares if you’re not a princess, as long you’re so damn hawt MAY I CALL YOU FI Eholy shit FI!?! And Allison going jealous berserk and imagining RIGHT EXACTLY what the two inthe other plane were saying
 I ASD’ed
 so
after all i’m dropping this T.T
Allison to Lilia, i hope the novels were good
but the anime is so idiot T.T A great delusion
