This series is crazy.I mean, this was already apparent and all, but this episode again was just completely out there. This episode was again disturbing and again in a different way than before.
The use of a cute girl for a fourteen year old boy… as if he wasn’t tortured enough already. It’s a good thing that this girl likes to make her victims suffer and all, but that act of hers was great on hindsight. Sure there was fanservice and all, but that was more like functional nude than fanservice. I’m not sure whether the manga had an explanation of why her brother found her at exactly the right time and all, but even then this was a ridiculously intense and crazy episode.
It’s just a shame that the animation in this series wasn’t up to the usual Manglobe standards. Because of that the distorted faces of that girl sometimes became a bit stupid. At the same time though, Ganta cursing his heart out at the end was just awesome.

Animation was a bit lacking, but to be fair to the artists, that girl’s panels are insanely warped to begin with so technically they weren’t off. It just translates weird to the animated screen. Though Ganta’s lecturing was definitely as epic as the original! XD
Deadman wonderland has a unique and great story but the problem is… the graphics and animation is pretty bad. Guys you can do it for more.
Damn, Ganta totally reminded me of Souichiro Nagi from Tenjou Tenge when he started to course 😀 I hope we will be more badass from now on.
Agreed, Ganta was SO awesome at the end of this episode. Hell yeah, give ’em the finger! Seeing eyepatched Crow was cool too in its own way.
Still. what was up with that mother, chosing some flowers over her own kid? that makes no freakin’ sense whatsoever. was she some kind of flower maniac or something…?
But I didn’t think the animation was that bad, the distorted faces worked pretty well here. I’ve seen waaay worse cases.
In the manga it basically is the brother coming home from school to see the events happening.
I have to say I’m getting sick of Deadman Wonderland. I haven’t even watched this episode. It’s just more and more torture again and again and again. Is it going to get away from this at any point or does it just roll on the torture train some more? Because honestly, that gets a bit disgusting after awhile. So given that, should I watch this episode or drop it now?
