Like expected, this was the episode where all hell breaks lose, and it indeed was one awesome episode full of awesome plot twists and awesome soundtracks. If this is going to be the standard for the rest of this series, then we’re in for something amazing. The build-up for the Cal arc was already interesting, but I feel like the climax is going to be even more awesome.
So in the end, it becomes clear that Claudia was the one who ordered the attack, half a year before. Scythe has been orchestrating his revenge against her, and that plan seems to be coming to fruition.
In this episode, Reiji finally gets the chance to talk to Ein again, and it seems that she hasn’t been mind-wiped or something: she still remembers Reiji, and instead is acting of her own will it seems. However, we’re still not given a look into her mind as to what caused her to go back to Scythe. I suspect that she never really cared about Reiji, and feared him more than she was willing to go with him, but let’s see whether or not that turns out to be true.
In the meantime, Reiji’s apartment has gotten blown up as well. Obviously Cal wasn’t inside when it happened because we’re only shown one side of the story, but I still really wonder what the heck happened inside there, and what caused her to escape. With this, she’s fully involved with the main storyline though, so that should prove to be awesome.
Rating: *** (Awesome)
WHOA! Such shocking revelations/twists! I’m so impressed~ I totally didn’t expect Claudia to still work for Scythe . . . and that Ein wasn’t brainwashed again. Whoaaaa . . .
I am so tempted to watch this raw . .
The bombed apartment… and so the base for Chapter Three (the upcoming arc) has been set…
I haven’t been keeping up with this one. I just hope the ending isn’t bad. o_O;
Er… I’m afraid you misunderstood something. I didn’t watch the episode properly yet, so there’s an off-chance that they totally changed the setup, but I’m 99.99% sure that SM is _not_ in cahoots with Claudia. No. The opposite, he wants to have his revenge with her.
What really happened was that Lizzie figured out that SM was with the Godoh group and assumed that they had been in cahoots with him all the time. To which Daisuke replied that it wasn’t Scythe who ordered the attack half a year ago, but _Claudia_ (which we know to be the truth). Lizzie goes ZOMGWTFBBQ, and Reiji gets it.
However, with the truth out, Claudia is in hot water herself now, and she bailed. As for the rest… see for yourself 😉
Mentar: Ah, okay. When I watch raws, I often make those kinds of mistakes because I didn’t pick up the right words. Thanks for clarifying. 🙂
man now this is one awesome episode. Somehow I go this strong feeling that Elen might be doing all this to protect Reiji. Especially when she said this in the preview “The reason why this world doesn’t feel like Infinite Hell is because you’re alive for me….”. damn awww
but it seems that Reiji went for a blood in the preview
Ein probably returned to the comfortable routine of mindlessly obeying Scythe Master, after having had what little hope she had squashed after trying to live for herself (or at least Reiji) failed so miserably. Admittedly, she wasn’t so enthusiastic about living for herself in the first place, even ending up almost sacrificing her life for her master.
Please clean up you’re summaries as a few of them contain GLARING inaccuracy that is confusing at best and just plain wrong at worst.
3th post this month you’ve screwed up a major plot point. [Pandora being the others]
Spike: You should first fix your attitude. Then at least specify what you thought was innacurate.
It was fixed, so obviously the blogger knew the error I spoke of. Don’t make a fool of yourself.
I like to impersonate other people.

Sorry there are multiple computers with access to our router, so it could have been anyone in my building, I’ll ask around and let them know it isn’t cool, although it kind of looked like the guy brought it on himself from his earlier comments
There’s really no reason for people to get so upset… I just want the blog to be as accurate as possible, so people aren’t getting the wrong idea. Thank You psgels for fixing it.
The only thing I wanted to ask is whether or not the ‘Mio’ character, Daisuke’s little sister, is actually Ein/Elen? It was a flashback, so she would’ve been around that age. It would make sense from a plot standpoint to kinda ‘relate’ all the characters together like that. Anyone else pick up on that? Or was it so obvious that I’m just a retard?
